Membership in NWPCA offers you the opportunity to develop and strengthen your industry connections, resources to help your business grow and prosper and connect with buyers and vendors from around the world. NWPCA’s own Pallet Design System™ pays for membership and provides members with a great marketing tool for their customers.
Industry - U.S.
Domestic Industry membership shall be available to any company, corporation, partnership, proprietorship or entity doing business in the U.S. engaged in wood or wood-fiber based pallet, container or reel manufacturing, recycling, repair, distribution or wholesaling within the 48 contiguous states of the United States, Alaska and Hawaii. Industry - International
International Industry Membership shall be available to any foreign company, corporation, partnership, proprietorship or entity not doing business in the United States engaged in wood or wood-fiber based pallet, container or reel manufacturing, recycling, repair, distribution or wholesaling. Industry Members (U.S. and International) shall have the right to attend meetings of the members, vote on all issues coming before membership and to hold office in the association. Each Industry Member will have one vote in all matters to be voted on by the members.
Associate membership is available to any company, corporation, partnership, proprietorship, or other entity that is regularly engaged in the business of providing goods or services to Industry Members, and who is not eligible for Industry membership (domestic or international). These include sawmill or repair equipment, drying and heat-treatment equipment, trucking, storage, manufacturing supplies (blades, cutters, saws, fasteners, raw material), service providers (banking, insurance, inspection, kiln-drying, heat treatment) and other companies that provide essential supplies the industry. Each Associate member will be entitled to attend meetings of the members and vote on all issues coming before membership. Associate members are not permitted to hold an elected officer position but may be elected to serve on the association's board of directors and/or committees. Each Associate member shall have one vote to elect one Associate member as a voting member of the Board of Directors.
End User membership is available to any company, corporation, partnership, proprietorship, or other entity that is regularly engaged in the design, handling, purchase, or use of those products manufactured by Domestic and International Industry Members as defined above. End User members may attend meetings of the members, serve on the committees of the association but may not serve on the board of directors nor vote on issues coming before the members. End User members may not be involved in the sale, reuse, manufacture or repair of pallets as their primary business.
For individuals that want to receive communications from NWPCA, regardless of membership status of their company. These include subscriptions to PalletCentral magazine, announcements of NWPCA conferences, information updates on the Pallet Design System™, trainings and other. However, please note that full website access is restricted to subscribers employed by an NWPCA member company (Industry, Associate, End-User) as described above. Register online!
