four local manufacturing plants, mills and production sites are opening their facilities to NWPCA and CWPCA from October 1-2, 2019 in  Toronto. 

About our hosts


Weston Forest Products is one of North America’s leading distributors and remanufacturers of softwood & hardwood lumber and specialty panel products. Weston’s various business units serve the industrial crating and packaging sectors, provide specialty products to the construction and infrastructure sectors, and manufacture and distribute a wide variety of products to Lumber and Building Material dealers.

Topax Protektive Packaging is family owned and operated since 1981, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The company is known for providing high quality, packaging solutions and good value. They package products ranging from electronics to large machinery (up to 80 tons) in their 35,000 square foot factory. The Topax Team provides logistics coordination and functional design for quality boxes, crates, skids, anti-corrosion and shock protection.

Pallet Management Group (PMG)
 
Tour the 13-acre site in Campbellville, Ontario. PMG is one of the largest pallet recycling, re-manufacturing and recovery operations in Ontario, and services about 85% of the province. The automotive industry is a large part of their business along with two of the largest foreign automotive manufacturers on both sides of the border.

PMG's active shipping/ receiving areas are completely automated with on-line real time tracking. They also operate operates 3 mobile grinders producing wood mulch for several industries including landscape, bedding and energy. Learn more about PMG

Woodbridge Pallet uses two indoor facilities comprising of 180,000 square feet complete with 20 loading docks and six-plus acres of land for storing, sorting and transport maneuverability. To surpass demand and quality requests, they have incorporated conveyor systems, automated sorting, stacking, repair and nailing equipment to assist in the demand for proficient and prompt pallet construction and repair.

Woodbridge Pallet oversees the repair and creation of over 15,000 pallets per day; therefore to keep up with customer demand they employ increased efficiency, technological advancements, and up-front communication. Learn more about Woodbridge Pallet.
